HOW TO USE SHEA BUTTER AS A LIP MOISTURIZER

I am sure we know of using Shea butter as moisturizer for our skin and hair but do you know you can also use it as a lip moisturizer or a lip balm.If you desire to have those “kiss me" soft and supple lips a jar of Shea butter could be just what you need.

Shea butter contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. It is very rich in vitamin A which helps to speed up the healing process of the skin. So if you sometimes experience "chapped lips" applying Shea butter would help. I should mention at this point that "chapped lips" or what some refer to as "breaking” lips could occur as a result of deficiency of certain vitamins in the body or during illness. Shea can be used along with whatever vitamin supplements recommended by your Doctor.

How to apply? Simple rub a little amount (almost like you are applying a lip balm) thoroughly between your thumb and index finger till soft and massage unto the lips. You can also rub your lips together to massage.

How often? As often as is convenient for you. I prefer to do it as part of preparing my face for make up. You could apply before bed or anytime you feel your lips are dry. You should notice your lips being supple afterwards.

NOTE: you do not need to wash it off unless of you are uncomfortable with the smell.
