How to choose a good Engineering College

Searching for admission to an engineering college? There lots of colleges of engineering there, but you must choose good engineering college wisely. Business houses and private trusts have set their eyes on the
education sector. Consequently, many engineering schools arose in India.


Because of the large volume of engineering schools, even students with low cut off marks gets admission to engineering classes. But many of these Engineering schools were hastily configured with lack of infrastructure, faculty and the quality of the training offered.

You should consider the following major factors before getting admission to an technology college.
No.1. Facilities and infrastructure
The university you will take admission must have sufficient infrastructure such as laboratories, recreational facilities, a library, canteen, etc. Visit the school and check the quality of the infrastructure.

No 2.Quality of the teachers

Many new educational institutions lack of good teachers. Some colleges do not even have the essential ability. So Before getting admission in an engineering school, go to the college and talk to the students about the faculty to examine if the college you would want to get admission has an excellent, experienced and adequate faculty.

No.3 Location

The location of an engineering college is also essential when it comes to picking a college. By taking admission in a college that is in your location, you can save costs from the inn, money spent on food, etc. Try to obtain admission in a college that is near your place. But if the college in your city is not up to the mark, choose the one that is closest to your place. This way you can travel from home to school and vice versa quickly. Also the college should be a peaceful place.

No.4. Fees

Before taking admission in a college, learn more about its fee composition. Check if your families can afford the fees. If you can not afford it, take a loan, if it suits you or take admission in a different good college, whose fees you can afford. There are many government engineering colleges there, with very cheap and decent infrastructure and faculty.

No.5. Student Results

Check previous results from college. Poor results indicate poor quality of the faculty. Few students with poor results are normal. But if the majority of students have poor results, then something is definitely wrong with the college!

No.6. Campus Placements

The global recession has reduced employment opportunities around the world. If a college has good investments, then chances are that it would be a good option for quality, infrastructure and environmental education.
